The second team finished 5th place out of 19 teams. In the rookie division the 3 Volcano Vista teams stood first, second and third. Only an outstanding effort by Rio Rancho pushed them into third past the team of Kyleigh Moya, Alisha Young, Miea Jones, Jacob Muller, and Nathan Reynolds. The team of Joey Wright, Danielle Sudlow, Erin Maestas, William Kleyboecker, and Stephen Newman gave Volcano Vista a Second place finish, and the Final rookie team of Phillip Sherman, Michael Sosbee, Erin Abeyta, James Alderete, and Khari Henderson picked up the first place finish. Great performance. The coaches now turn their attention to try and have 8 seniors on the bowling team ready for the Senior's tournament this coming Saturday at Silva's Lanes. Good luck to Maryn Gray, Kaithlyn Wheeler, Alisha Young, Renato Aguirre, Justin Baca, Khari Henderson, Victor Lara-Reyes, and Bryan Nogan, as they try and claim some of the $6,000 in scholarships that are available.
