Why is it the media can report what ever they think will sell? It is just wrong. Imagine if a sports reporter was to announce 5 minutes before the game is over that the San Francisco 49rs won the Superbowl people would have a fit but what the media is doing is no different than doing that

So I think it's no wonder that the media goes with whatever they can find from the rumor mill. They don't have any real info, from either authorized or not authorized sources. As Mark says, they are payed to get ratings.
