CA-MEU Lodge Complex: 5,400 acres, 30% contained. Firing operations were completed on the western portion of the fire with good black line established. Handline construction continued on the northern portion to tie in to the Eel River. An evacuation warning has been issued for Dann Valley, Little Dan Creek, Cedar Flat, Cummings/Little Red Mountain, Tan Oak Park, Hermitage, Big Bend and Grizzly Creek.

CA-KNF July Complex: 8,026 acres, 0% containment. Whites Fire had significant increase in fire activity this afternoon after the smoke inversion lifted. An evacuation advisory has been issued for Idlewild, Taylors Lake, and Robinson Flat. A soft closure was placed on the Sawyers Bar Road between Etna Summit and Whites Gulch.

CA-KNF Log Fire: 2,337 acres, 13% contained. Warmer and drier conditions lead to an increase in fire behavior. The fire spread south of Mill Creek today with several runs towards indirect containment lines.

CA-SHF Coffee Complex: 5,465 acres, 35%. Crews continued burnout operations today resulting in an increase in containment. Direct handline construction continues.

CA-LNF Bald Fire: 39,926 acres, 95% containment. Minimal fire behavior. Stump holes and 1000 hour fuels continue to consume. Expected containment 8/10/2014.

CA-LNF Eiler Fire: 32,048 acres, 45% contained. Increased temperatures and lower relative humidity has caused numerous unseen spot fires outside containment lines to start showing.

CA-KNF Beaver Fire: 18,864 acres, 20% contained. Inversion layer broke at 1500 hours causing significant increase in fire activity. Crews continue to work for containment on eastern portion of the fire. A new spot fire was discovered in Division T. Structure threat in Beaver Creek is in patrol status.

CA-KNF Little Deer Fire: 5,503 acres, 87% contained. No significant activity. The fire transitioned to the KNF at 1700 hours.

CA-LMU Day Fire: 13,153 acres, 92% contained. No significant fire activity. The fire transitioned back to the LMU at 1000 hours this morning.
