CA-ENF King Fire: 89,574 acres, 35% contained. Zone 1: Crews were able to completely line the large spot fire near French Meadows Reservoir. Significant direct and indirect line was completed in the fire area. Zone 2: Good progress made in the Rubicon river drainage. Primary lines are in and secondary lines are nearing completion.

CA-KNF Happy Camp Complex: 131,996 acres, 85% contained. Fire intensity decreased overnight but continued to back into the Wooley Creek drainage.

CA-KNF July Complex: 50,042 acres, 98% contained.

CA-ENF King Fire: 87,592 acres, 18% contained. Zone 1 fire behavior was moderate today with individual and group torching and short range spotting. Most of the activity was on the north and northwest portions of the fire. Zone 2 had down canyon winds push the fire over the containment lines in Division G and into the Rubicon drainage moving the fire to the west. Secondary and contingency lines are being constructed, as well as direct line where conditions are safe.

CA-KNF Happy Camp Complex: 131,996 acres, 85% contained. The fire continues to actively back into the Wooley Creek drainage burning in mostly timber understory.

CA-ENF Irene Fire: 94 acres, 91% contained. Crews continued mop up and suppression repair. Some crews, excess supplies and equipment were demobed and transported off the fire today. All remaining personnel will be transported off the fire by end of shift tomorrow. The fire will then be placed in patrol status and will be patrolled by aircraft.

National Weather Service - Reno has issued a Fire Weather Watch from Wednesday morning through Wednesday evening for gusty winds and low humidity for northeastern California and far western Nevada. CA-ENF King Fire: 87,592 acres, 18% contained. Fire behavior was minimal overnight with creeping and backing fire observed.

CA-ENF Irene Fire: 94 acres, 78% contained. Minimal overnight fire behavior due to precipitation received yesterday.

CA-KNF Happy Camp Complex: 131,996 acres, 85% contained. Smoke dispersion was poor throughout the past 24 hour period. The fire continues to back and flank in the Wooley Creek drainage. Mop up, patrol and suppression repair continues on the northern portion of the fire.

CA-ENF King Fire: 82,018 acres, 17% contained. Firing in Branch 1 continued with higher humidity not affecting the firing operations but assisted in decreasing the spotting potential.
