This morning this fire was at 80% containment with just under 7000 acres burned... it seemed like a done deal waiting for more money to be poured onto it before it was finally done. However, a wind shift has blown it out of control on the west side and it is running amok with evacuations in place on the Mix Canyon part of the fire. Major resource orders going out. resume listening and following via the links below. On Thu, Jul 23, 2015 at 12:01 AM, Kim Noyes <kimnoyes@gmail.com> wrote:Live streaming video feed:Live streaming scanner feed:This fire began this afternoon as a result of an auto mishap on Hwy 128 near the dam at Lake Berryessa.
The fire rapidly spread primarily eastward and down into the western margins of the Sacramento Valley.
As of 11:30 p.m. tonight it has scorched a guesstimated 5,000 acres with minimal containment (5%).
This event is primarily wind-driven but helped along in some areas by slope and/or fuel factors. Structures have been lost and large-scale resource orders continue to be received and more submitted.Twitter hashtag: #WraggFireHotlist threads:
