This was one of those rare occasions when one of the Jet Streams will temporarily hurl itself down out of the sky where it normally blasts along up at say 30,000 feet and instead comes into direct contact with the Earth's surface however fleeting but with dramatic effect, particularly if human beings and their constructs and activities are located where that occurs.
