THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN HANFORD CA HAS EXTENDED THE * FLOOD ADVISORY FOR... ALL RIVERS IN THE SAN JOAQUIN VALLEY NORTH OF KERN COUNTY * UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. * WATER RELEASES BELOW THE DAMS WILL CONTINUE TO PRODUCE VERY FAST AND DANGEROUSLY COLD FLOWS ALONG MANY RIVERS IN THE SAN JOAQUIN VALLEY FOR AT LEAST ANOTHER WEEK OR TWO. WATER LEVELS ALONG AREA RIVERS WILL BE HIGH ENOUGH TO CAUSE MINOR FLOODING IN NEARBY LOW LYING AREAS. * LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS HAVE CLOSED ACCESS TO MUCH OF THE KINGS RIVER BELOW PINE FLAT DAM DUE TO UNSAFE CONDITIONS. CHECK WITH LOCAL GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS FOR THE LATEST RIVER CLOSURES.
