| 10/16 | 0800 | Per the National Interagency Coordination Center (NICC)at close of business yesterday the National Preparedness level was lowered to Preparedness Level 1 Due to minimal large fire activity Nationally. Most of the Geographic Areas have low to moderate fire danger and there is little or no commitment of National Resources. In addition effective Friday October 19th (NICC) will discontinue publishing the daily IMSR report and move to a weekly IMSR report. The last daily IMSR will be published this Friday, with the next weekly IMSR to be published Friday, October 26 at 0800 MT. |
| 10/15 | 1900 | Warm temperatures and low humidities dominated the GACC but there was little initial attack activity. |
| 10/14 | 160 | Well above normal temperatures and low humidity will affect the region through Thursday as a strong ridge of high pressure remains off the California Coast. Temperatures will be 10 to 20 degrees above normal with the warmer valley locations reaching the mid 90s and minimum humidity will be mainly between 10% and 25% through Thursday.
