 Due to the earthquake, the Regional office will be closed tomorrow Monday August 25, 2014.  Any employees reporting for work will be sent home.

Earthquake

·        A 6.0 earthquake hit about 6 miles southwest of Napa this morning

·        Power lines are down and thousands have no power

·        Some homes in a mobile home park are burning, no water because water lines are broken

·        Road damage in the area

Location: Wofford Heights and Hwy 155

  • Jurisdiction: BLM
  • 4045 acres, 96% contained
  • Type 3 organization (Marquez) in charge.

 

Junction CA-MMU- 014633 Madera County

Location of incident: Hwy 49 and Junction, Oakhurst community

  • Jurisdiction: SRA
  • Type 3 organization (Cheek)
  • 612 acres, 95% contained.
