We got slammed.

according to CHP reports, a car washed off teh road (I believe ) at Highline and Tucker. Hard closures of 59 in Mojave.. people stuck on the freeway they are trying to get off. Mudslides on 58 and 202.

My son's friend, who had dropped him off at our house at 6:00ish, got stuck in a mudslide on 202 and had to wait for assistance to get out (he's home safe now).

Here's a link to local chp reports of what is going on up here. We're not going anywhere tonight...watching a dry creek that hasn't run in 10yrs on my property...it's a raging torrent tonight, and more rain on the way.
