[californiadisasters] [EDIS] Severe T-Storm Warning - Antelope Valley



AT 824 PM PDT... NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR CONTINUED TO INDICATE A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING QUARTER SIZE HAIL. IN ADDITION...LOCALLY HEAVY RAINS WITH THESE STORMS COULD  PRODUCE LOCAL FLOODING ON LOW LYING AREAS. THE STRONGEST STORM WAS LOCATED 9 MILES NORTHEAST OF PALMDALE...OR 10 MILES EAST OF LANCASTER...MOVING WEST AT 30 MPH.  THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WILL OTHERWISE REMAIN OVER MAINLY RURAL AREAS OF THE INDICATED COUNTY.
