A NEARLY STATIONARY UPPER LEVEL LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM OFF THE COAST OF NORTHERN BAJA WILL CONTINUE TO STEER SIGNIFICANT SUBTROPICAL MOISTURE INTO SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA THROUGH SUNDAY. THE MOIST AND UNSTABLE AIRMASS WILL BRING A THREAT OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS TO MUCH OF SOUTHWEST CALIFORNIA AT TIMES THROUGH SUNDAY.
