Santa Ana winds are snapping through San Diego County's canyons, foothills and mountains, surpassing more than 50 mph in spots. A high wind warning will be in effect through 4 p.m. today for the eastern two-thirds of the county, where gusts could reach 60 mph, the National Weather Service says. The relative humidity also has dropped below 20 percent across much of the region. But the weather service hasn't issued a wildfire alert because the county received so much rain during the fall and early winter.<SNIP>
