Magnitude 6.0 Earthquake Near San Francisco

A magnitude 6.0 earthquake rocked the San Francisco area early this morning around 3:20 am PST (6 km NW of American Canyon, CA). This was the largest earthquake in the area since a M6.9 back in 1989 (Loma Prieta). At least 60,000 people are without power this morning in Napa and Sonoma counties, including 27,600 in the city of Napa and 15,400 in the city of Sonoma, according to PG&E. Some damage reports have been coming in on Twitter.
