Orange County: The Orange County Fire Authority (OCFA) will participate in a Remembrance
Service to commemorate the eleventh anniversary of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.
This is in memory of the losses suffered at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and in
Shanksville, Pennsylvania. This service will provide an opportunity for the OCFA to conduct an
organizational salute to all of those who lost their lives and pay a special tribute to the following
uniformed services:

• 343 fallen members of FDNY
• 23 fallen members of NYPD
• 37 fallen members of the NY Port Authority Police

The services will be held at the flag pole in front of each OCFA Fire Station. The services will start
at 8:46 a.m. and conclude at 9:10 a.m.

The OCFA would like to extend an open invitation to all fire, law enforcement, EMS professionals,
and the residents of our communities to attend the service at any one of our fire stations.
Additionally, we would like to say "thank you" in advance to all of those who take time out of their
busy schedules to pay their respects to all of the families who lost their loved ones during this
tragic event.
