Friday is PINK Out Day- everyone wear pink to school in support of those with breast cancer.

CREATIVE WRITING CLUB:  Today's afterschool meeting of Creative Writing Club is canceled.  Listen to announcements for an upcoming special lunch meeting next week.  Again, Creative Writing Club meeting is canceled for after school today.

Attention Seniors!  Last chance to turn in your yellow forms for your diploma.  You MUST see Connie Ewing immediately in the main office.
 
Volcano Vista Chess Club initial meeting will be on Thursday, November 1, during lunch, in E-211. Meeting promptly starts at 11:15.

Halloween Door Decorating Contest. Senate is sponsoring a Halloween Door decorating contest through your 5th period class The judging will begin on Monday the 29th during 5th period. The winner will receive a pizza party during lunch on the 31st. For more information and guidelines see your 5th period teacher.

Retakes for underclassmen pictures will be on Friday, October 26th. If you have not had your picture taken or you wish to retake your photos pleas stop by the activities office during lunch and sign up for a time.

The Art Club will be collecting orders for carved pumpkins from 10/18 -10/26. We will carve a design of your choice and deliver it to you on Tuesday 10/30 during lunch. The cost is $10. If you would like a pumpkin, please contact your nearest art club member or see Ms Trigg in G112 and G113.

Taking Flight Productions Presents Euripides' Medea on November 2nd and 3rd at 7:00 pm in the PAC. Tickets are $6.00 for students and staff, $10.00 for adults and $3.00 for thespians and children. Invite your friends and family to support the incredible works of Alysha White, Dalila Banda, Juziah Ortiz, Jackson Staley and many more!

ATHLETICS:

Thursday

• Volleyball will play at Rio Rancho at 6:30.

Friday

• Girls soccer will play Cibola here at 4.
• Boys soccer will play Cibola at 4:30 at the soccer complex.

Saturday

• Our football team will be having their pink-out game against Rio Rancho at Milne at 5 pm.
