Time for Open Mic Night again! This Friday, April 25, come and watch VVHS talent perform in our blackbox for the last open mic night of the year. Seniors, this show is for you! Graduating seniors, bring in your student ID and get in for only a dollar. General Admission is $5. Those looking to perform, sign up sheets will be in Ms. Montoya's room (H219). The cost to perform is $1. See you on Friday!
Freshman Senate: We have snack bar this week! PLEASE report to snack bar at 11:00 am on the days you signed up!
There will be no senate on Wednesday morning. Everyone will meet on Thursday at 6:45 in the Lecture Hall.
Attention Class of 2014: It's that time! Senior Picnic tickets will be on sale Tuesday-Friday for $5 in front of the library. For that amazing price you receive a t-shirt, Jason's Deli, and lots of fun. In addition, you will be able to pick up your yearbook at the picnic. The picnic will be held on Monday April 28th from 4:30-7:30 here at VVHS. You will need your student ID to purchase a ticket/t-shirt and ONLY seniors from VVHS are allowed at this event.
Yearbooks will be here next week. You may still purchase a book during lunch for $65.00 in the activities office. The price of books will increase to $70.00 on Monday April 28. Seniors will get their books at the senior picnic on Monday evening and underclassmen may pick up their books on Tuesday during lunch in the ROTC room. You must have your student ID to pick up your book.
Best Buds is meeting this Friday during lunch. Please stop by!
Attention MESA members...there will be a regularly scheduled meeting tomorrow in room G203...we will be giving our online reccomendations for next year...please attend.
Seniors:
Please be sure that you have filled out the pronunciation form (the blue card) and the Picture form (the grey card) and have returned them to the activities office by Friday, April 25.
Any graduating senior interested in performing the National Anthem or talent at the Honors Assembly please sign up in the activities office today and Wednesday during lunch.
COUNSELING:
Any senior who has received a scholarship please let our career counselor Mrs. Baca-Dory know so that we can place the information into the honors program.
Seniors, are you interested in an internship in Washington, DC next school year while earning college credit? American University is offering this unique program for high school graduates with a focus on American Politics, Global Business and Trade, or International Affairs. Visit the Career Center, Rm. E224 for more information.
ATHLETICS:
Anyone interested in playing football next year there will be a meeting during lunch on Wednesday in the gym.
