Re: [californiadisasters] Camp Fire 18:00 report

now ten confirmed according to the last one I saw....there's no question whatsoever that ALL those numbers will rise.  With the thrashing Magalia and Concow got today, absolutely.

Subject: [californiadisasters] Camp Fire 18:00 report

I'm reading through the 18:00 ICS 209 form, about as raw a data source
as one can get.  I'm sure it's been 'sanitized' compared to what they
used to contain (colorful language that indicated the 'real'
conditions).  Here is what you want to know, that can be shown at this time.

90,000 acres

5% containment

Fire activity: Extreme

Structures threatened, 15,000

Structures destroyed, 6453*

Non-residential commercial property threatened, 2,000

Non-residential commercial property destroyed, 260*

Fatalities, 9

- - - - - -

* My read:  With the conditions they're facing, ALL those numbers will
rise before the containment is achieved.  ALL.  It's Redding and Santa
Rosa, all over again.
