RE: [californiadisasters] question about cyclones pacific northwest

I lived in Bellinghaam Wash for ten years and during that time we got plenty of storms from the Pineapple Express where tropical energy was channeled straight at the Pacific NW.

However, while some of these were tropical storm/hurricane remnants not the storms themselves.

Hope that helped.

Subject: [californiadisasters] question about cyclones pacific northwest

I am just curious if there is any historical data regarding a tropical storm cyclone strength affecting the pacific northwest like the hurricanes do on the east coast?
