As of Monday afternoon, all roads leading into Yosemite National Park remained closed.

The roads were temporarily shut down starting at 10:30 a.m. due to "snow, ice, mudslides, fallen trees and downed power lines," according to the U.S. National Park Service.

By 3:30 p.m., park officials confirmed that all roads were still closed.

Snowy conditions forced the closure of Highways 41 (Wawona Road), 120 (Big Oak Flat Road) and 140 (El Portal Road).

Caltrans shut down Highway 140 between El Portal and Mid Pines because of mudslides, falling rocks, downed power lines and fallen trees, according to NPS.

The Badger Pass Road and Hetch Hetchy Road were also closed.

Spokeswoman Victoria Mates said the conditions could change and updates would be posted on the park's website. Updates will also be available by calling 209-372-0200.

Within 24 hours, some areas of the park got more than 3.5 feet of snow, according to the park's website.
