The Film Service Learning Class has successfully had their PSA accepted (Public Service Announcement) for the Making Strides for Breast Cancer Event! And they have also been selected to create a PSA for Comcast that will run this summer. They also are currently in the process of creating Videos for VVHS Counseling Dept.

All members of the 2011 Prom Court will have a meeting in the Activities Office during lunch on Tuesday, March 22. Please be there by 11:20. Your picture will be taken at that time for the ballot.
Any student interested in running for a Student Body Vice-President or Secretary please stop by the activities office and sign up. There will be a mandatory meeting for all interested students on Wednesday, March 23 at 11:20 in the activities office.
Prom tickets will go on sale Wednesday in the activities office during lunch for $20.00. Prices will increase to $25.00 on Wednesday, March 30th.
Attention VVHS faculty staff and students: the VVHS administration will be coming around all week to recognize the students that received a 3.5 or higher GPA for the 4th 6 week grading period with a certificate of excellence. Once again, close to 25% of the student body will receive this certificate this semester. Way to go hawks!

Attention all Juniors: Want to brush up on reading, writing or test taking skills before the SBA? Come to F213 Monday-Thursday after school from 2:40-4:00 for tutoring. If you have any questions see Mrs. Wells in H107.
Clubs:
- Operation Smile will be selling popcorn on Wednesday at lunch. Help change a child's life AND get some delicious fresh popcorn!
- There will be a Spanish Club meeting at lunch today in room F210. We will be discussing club officer elections and future club activities. New members are welcome. Current members, bring your friends.
- All current members of Spanish National Honor Society need to attend a meeting today, March 22, at lunch in room E112. The meeting is a required planning meeting for April events. Today’s meeting is for CURRENT members of the Spanish National Honor Society. Those students who wish to JOIN the society will attend a meeting NEXT week on March 29th.
- Attention MESA members who are going to MESA Day in April...there will be an after school meeting Tuesday 22 March in room H207...you must attend.
- Attention Class of 2012: There is a mandatory meeting during lunch today in room A218.
- Seniors: There will be a class meeting to discuss the Senior BBQ, senior gift and senior t-shirts on Wed. in Mr. Brown's room, F111. Any senior wanting to come, please join us. Senators and officers must attend.
- Freshmen and Sophomore class officers, senators and sponsors please meet in Mrs. Bullard's room at lunch on Wednesday March 23.
Athletics:
- Attention all wrestlers, there will be a wrestling meeting after school today. The meeting will be in the wrestling room right after school.
- Tennis has a match on today, Girls are at West Mesa and Boys are here at 3:30 PM.
- Softball plays at Valley at 4 PM.
