[Volcano_Vista_HS] Talons Take 2nd in State

Congratulations to The Talons Dance Team 

for placing 2nd in the State Spirit Competition for Dance.

The Talons competed against 14 teams and proudly brings home a Silver Trophy.

They beat out perennial 5A champions like Eldorado, and Rio Rancho.

The Hawks Cheerleaders came in 4th in 5A Cheer, just being edged out for a trophy. 

All of the girls involved in the Spirit program worked many long hours in preparation for State,

we are proud of every one of them

This was the first year Volcano Vista's Spirit Squads competed at the 5A level.

And this was the first Year that Spirit ( Cheer and Dance ) was competed as a sport.
