OT (and copied to the Discussion group, where any replies should go,
please), but a reply here: I figured out a long time ago that if you've a
mind to worry about your kids, there will never be a shortage of reasons to
worry:

1. You worry that your infant might die of SIDS or something.
2. You worry that your toddler will strangle his/herself or otherwise do
mayhem.
3. You worry that your child will not do well in school, or will come under
bad influence.
4. You worry about your teen and drugs, driving, sports, dating, and school.
5. You worry that your college student might not be at the right school, or
in the right major, or doing well.
6. You worry that your college grad won't get a good job/isn't advancing,
and that s/he is going with the wrong person, or with no person.
7. You worry whether your child is marrying the right person, and whether
the marriage will last.
8. You worry whether child and spouse are raising their kids right (or that
they don't have kids yet).
9. You worry whether your child is going to take care of you when you get
unable to care for yourself.

grow up you worry but not like when they were little.... Then the grandkids
