RE: [californiadisasters] Re: A why is it?



The same deal applies to reacting to the current ruling party acting as the US apologist for standards that have long been accepted as the American way.  Some cheer it, some get p/o’ed.

 

Hmmm, comparing the 4th estate to politics in reference to informing the public?  Nah, no relationship or similarities at all.  Uh uh, no way.  They’d never steer opinion . . .   would they?

A little cynicism is often a good thing.  Check your sources, double check your data, confirm everything, every time.  Then doubt it all anyway because there is a hidden agenda.  The TRUTH can be elusive.

 

One important lesson from the 60’s era, “Doubt and question all authority”.  To fail there is to allow more than you bargained for by enabling ‘authority’ to take more power over you.
