[Volcano_Vista_HS] Sports Kudos for some of our Students!

We want to congratulate the JV Girls Softball team for coming in FIRST in the city tournament! Way to go. The JV Boys Baseball team also had a great season but fell short in the JV City Tournament Championship game. They ended up 2nd place in the city!

The State Championship Water Polo Tournament was held this past weekend. The Girls of the Westside Water PoloTeam (which includes VVHS, Cibola HS and one student from West Mesa HS) took the State Championship. Two girls from VVHS, Britnni Chacone and Elena Padilla were chosen to represent the ALL STATE TEAM for 2011.Great job ladies!
