Class of 2014:  We will have a meeting at lunch on Wednesday in Mrs. Wells' room.

Class of 2015: There will be a class meeting in F114 at lunch tomorrow.

Art Club meeting today during lunch in G113

Administrators will be coming around this week before or at the end of classes to recognize students that received a 3.5 GPA or Higher this past 6 week grading period. Congratulations to the close to 25% of the students at VVHS that will be receiving one of these certificates.  Keep up the good work and we challenge all students to achieve at this level.

We will be having sign-ups for Volleyball this week. Any student and/or faculty member may sign up. We will have teams of 5 each player will pay $1.00. Tournament play will take place during lunch in the main gym beginning Monday, December 3rd. The finals will be played at the assembly on Friday the 7th. Stop by the activities office during lunch and sign up.

Any 5th period class, athletic team or organization that would like to adopt a needy child for the holidays stop by the Activities Office during lunch or 5th period to pick up a card. All gifts are due back to Activities by Thursday, December 6th.

National Honor Society: This is our week to work in the A Hall Snack Bar. Be there when the bell rings at 11:05 on your assigned day. Remember, our Winter Break luncheon is next Monday, Dec 3rd and is being catered by Chick-Fil-A.  Anyone who wishes to help provide Christmas for our assigned child, 2 year old Shylinn, can bring a toy, puzzle or book or $1 to the luncheon. Thanks for all of your hard work this semester, you really have exhibited scholarship, character and leadership!

Thanks to everyone who participated in the can food drive. Once again National Honor Society won and will receive a pizza party.

Due to a scheduling conflict the Talent Show has been moved to Tuesday, January 15th.

ATHLETICS:

• Tonight is our first Basketball game of the season: Boys will be playing at 5:30pm and the Girls at 7pm.
• Coach Brown is taking applications for the FAB 5. Stop by room A117 to pick up your application. You must be a senior and a die-hard fan of basketball.
• Let's see if we can fill the ring of fire tonight for our first game!
• The State Semifinal Football game will take place Friday, November 30th at 7PM at Milne Stadium vs. Sandia High School. We are the home team.
