[californiadisasters] Re: Geologist forecasts undersea Northwest quake in 50 years

Hi Group;

 

I am paying attention to seismic activity in the Pacific Northwest because it does have a history of earthquakes, and some big ones. I was born and raised in Seattle and my family still lives there ... so definitely watching. Not only that, but volcanic activity has happened from time to time out there as well. I'm not critical of a well researched article by the Press but will criticize alarmism ... just writing opinions with no basis in fact. That's NOT responsible journalism. A good journalist will interview and/or record an interview with an expert rather than just jump to conclusions. So when you read articles, see if the journalist has taken the trouble to talk to experts. Just my personal opinion about the Press ...
