Re: [californiadisasters] Kern County Road affected

There's black ice over the Newhall Pass on the Old Road.   Several accidents and CHP is controlling who goes through.    I-5 and the 14 might be next.     Still snowing in Valencia.

80 mph winds and snow hve closed the Grapevine section of the 5 freeway. The Canyon section of highway 178 is closed due to landslides. Highway 178 thru Walker Pass - chains required. Highway 155 thru Alta Sierra - chains required.
