Tell that to the BNSF LE that wrote the blast not me.

I cut and pasted from an official source which I will NEVER EDIT.

Two corrections:

1) "Contain" should have been "container"

2) "Bombings" of desert train routes should have been "attacks" on desert train routes.

For those of you not getting why all the fuss this is over terrorism concerns with the contain concern being of a bomb nature and the photography concern being of a "casing the joint" nature. Two things are worth noting:

1) There are numerous train enthusiasts so that is the most likely explanation of the photographer incident.

2) Bombings of desert train routes are not without precident: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1995_Palo_Verde,_Arizona_derailment

At 1853 hours on August 8 a BNSF Special Agent reported that at 1718 hours, a BNSF track crewmember reported that an unidentified white male was observed walking into a tunnel with a camera, near MP 202.8 in the Gateway Subdivision of Keddie, CA. A BNSF Special Agent and Plumas Sheriffs responded and determined that the unidentified male had left the area. A sweep of the area was conducted with negative results. There was no impact to operations. At the time of this report, there was no media attention.

At 1728 hours on August 07, a BNSF Senior Patrolman reported telephonically that at 1656 hours, a suspicious item was discovered on a railroad bridge at Milepost 201.5 in the Gateway Subdivision in Keddie, CA. A BSNF Special Agent and Plumas County Sheriff Office responded. A BNSF train dispatcher reported that the train crew of freight train #HBARBAN 105 saw a jug of unknown type with black tape wrapped around it, possibly containing a clear liquid, was on the RR Bridge. The train didn't stop, but train service will be halted until the investigation is concluded by LEOs. The track is freight only. At 1937 hours a BNSF Officer reported that at 1928 hours a BNSF Special agent and local LEOs determined that the jugs contained water.
