Hey, good-lookin'! Mock Trial team tryouts are coming up!

YES I'm talking about YOU! You're a pretty bright kid! You don't follow the crowd; you come up with your own opinions! You want an extra-curricular activity which allows you:

  • To perform!
  • To compete!
  • To develop skills you'll find useful in your classes!
  • To hang out with really bright, fun, smart kids—like you!!
  • Conceivably to get a scholarship!

In short: You want MOCK TRIAL!

Volcano Vista has one of the state's most successful mock trial programs, and we're looking for new talent!

Mock trial is all about hard work in preparation, using your smarts, thinking on your feet, working with a great group of kids, and being successful!

The year's first organizational meeting is this Friday, September 2, at 2:40 in F110 (Mr. Goodfellow's room). If you think there is any chance at all you might be interested, SHOW UP!

Do Mr. Goodfellow a favor, and stop by his room to let him know you'll be coming by. That's F110; come by before the meeting, but the meeting is on Friday at 2:40!

  • Anyone that is interested in wrestling there will be practice at 3:00 pm on the first of September in the wrestling room!!!
  • Baseball: Reminder there is a fall league baseball tryout for any freshmen or students new to our school interested in playing. The tryout will be held this Wednesday and Thursday from 2:45-4:30.
