I have always found the end of the fire season to be a bit melancholy... and I'm not even a firefighter. Cheer up though, in a few days NorCal (Bay Area in particular) may get its 2011 Fire Season in the span of only a few days duration.

10/21/2011	1300	Today is the last Daily Resource Report for the 2011 Fire Season unless activity warrants. Local dispatch centers will be, at a minimum, updating their Daily SIT data each Wednesday by 1700. News & Notes will be updated when large fires, abnormal fire activity, team rotations, newsworthy items, and/or commemorative dates occur.
