08/01/2012-	1822	CA-PNF Chips Fire 2400 acres 5% contained. Increased fire activity caused change in strategy from direct to indirect line construction. Maggie's Trailer Park near Little Haven was evacuated this afternoon due to approaching fire. Gansner Bar, North Fork, and Queen Lily USFS campgrounds and USFS road 27N76 were closed today. Community of Belden and Little Haven is on precautionary evacuation. Three mile long one lane traffic control along State Highway 70 was put in place due to fire spread towards highway. Portions of the Pacific Crest, Yellow Creek, Ben Lomond, and Indian Creek hiking trails remain closed.
08/01/2012-	1725	Salt Creek, North of Redding >Shasta-Trinity National Forest >FRA >175 Acres, Brush and Timber, 0% Contained >Moderate Rate of Spread >Fire is on both sides of Interstate 5 >Interstate 5 is closed >Powerlines and Structures Threatened,evacuations occuring.
08/01/2012	1713	CA- PNF Peak Fire. 800 acres, 100% contained.
08/01/2012	1609	CA-PNF Chips Fire. Type 1 Team McGowan on order.
08/01/2012	1544	Salt Creek, North of Redding >Shasta-Trinity National Forest >FRA >100 Acres, Brush and Timber, 0% Contained >Moderate Rate of Spread >Fire is on both sides of Interstate 5 >Interstate 5 is closed >Powerlines and Structures Threatened,evacuations occuring.
