2008: Laughlin, NV, reaches 92° F, tying the highest temperature ever in Nevada in November
which was first set at Laughlin, NV, on November 3, 1988

2003: A large waterspout was observed between Laguna Beach and Catalina Island.
This was the first day measurable rain fell in San Diego after 181 consecutive days of no measurable rain, making this dry streak the second longest on record.

2003: 14" of snow fell at Tahoe City (west shore Lake Tahoe).

1999: It was 80° F in Idyllwild, the highest temperature on record for November.
This also occurred on 11.13.1999, 11.4.1980, 11.12.1967, and 11.2.1966.

1966: It was 101° F in Santa Ana and 100° F in LA and 98° F in Paso Robles, each the highest November temperature on record.
It was also 101° F at the LA airport and 97° F in San Diego.
Santa Ana winds fanned fires.

1966: Downtown San Francisco had a high temperature of 86
° F -- a record for the month.

1962: It was 102° F in Palm Springs, the highest temperature on record for November.

1954: It was 82° F in Palomar Mountain, the highest temperature on record for November.

1935: 10" of snow fell at Portola, with 6" at Susanville.

1935: A cold start: five of the first six days this November had lows of 32° F or lower in Bakersfield.
The low on this date was 32° F.

1927:
It rained 2.9" in Santa Ana, the greatest daily amount on record for November.
