HURRICANE HARVEY has devastated the Houston area. Senate is selling paper Hawks for $1.00 If you would like to purchase a Hawk or if any group would like to join our efforts and sell the Hawks please stop by the activities office. We will also donate $1.00 of every dance ticket to victims of the devastation. All proceeds will go to the American Red Cross.
Carnival:
Attention Students: Would you like to see a teacher dropped in a large container of water? If you do, come to the Carnival on Tuesday after school from 4:30-6:00 p.m. Cost is $1 per throw. If you bring an item of clothing, blankets, or toiletries to donate to the victims of Hurricane Harvey, we will let you have one throw for free. Some of the teachers who volunteered to be in the Dunk booth are: Ms. Shrader, Senor Cuevas, Mr. Gustafson, Mrs. Allen, Ms. Rossi, and Mrs. Garcia. Hope to see you all there!"

HOMECOMING DANCE, Saturday Sept 9th, 8-11pm in the main gym
Tickets will be on sale during lunch in the activities office. August 31-Sept 6 tickets will be $20.00. September 7-8 tickets will be $25.00.
•Students must have their student ID to purchase a ticket.
•If you are bringing a guest please have the guest form completed when you purchase your tickets.
•All students must have their student ID at the dance.
PARKING PASSES WILL NOT BE SOLD DURING LUNCH WHEN DANCE TICKETS ARE BEING SOLD.
MATH NATIONAL HONORS SOCIETY There is a informational MATH NHS meeting this Friday in H207 Mrs. Alvarado's room for those interested in joining. MATH NHS provides opportunities to tutor math students and learn more about how math rules!!!. You must have a 3.14 Math GPA to join. If you are interested, stop by at lunch this Friday.
ATHLETICS:
There is a SOFTBALL information meeting during lunch today, September 5th. If you are interested in trying out for the lady's softball team, please attend this meeting
TUESDAY:
GIRLS SOCCER: will play Sandia today at 3:30.
WEDNESDAY:
VOLLEYBALL: will play in the first round of the metro tournament at Valley at 4pm.
