CA-MDF Modoc July Complex: 1,854 acres, 20% contained. Fires in the complex exhibited moderate flame lengths and some smoldering. 500 KV powerlines and railroad infrastructure remain threatened.

CA-LNU Butts Fire: 4,300 acres, 45% contained. Firing operations produced extreme fire behavior with short durations of critical rates of spread. Direct line construction and reinforcement will continue.
