07/08/2014 | 1820 | Ranch Fire, CA-SQF-002142, Kern County Update Fire is located South of Red Mountain in the Greenhorn Mountains 10 miles West of Lake Isabella Jurisdiction: FRA Coopers Type 2 IMT in command. 70 acres, 95% contained Transition to a Type 3 organization will be at 0600 tomorrow 7/9/2014. A closeout meeting is scheduled for 11:00 at the Kern River District Office. Heavy demobilization of personnel, equipment and aircraft will continue. Another IR flight will be ordered for tonight. This will be the final report for this incident. |
07/08/2014 | 0810 | Ranch Fire, CA-SQF-002142, Kern County Update Fire is located South of Red Mountain in the Greenhorn Mountains 10 miles West of Lake Isabella Jurisdiction: FRA Coopers Type 2 IMT in command. 70 acres, 60% contained change of acreage is the result of accurate mapping. Transition to Type 3 organization will begin today with the fire returning to the forest at 0600 tomorrow. A closeout meeting with the forest is scheduled for 1100 on 7/9/14 at the Summit Ranger District Office. Heavy demobilization of personnel, equipment and aircraft will continue. |
