Ranch Fire, CA-SQF-002142 Kern County

Fire is located South of Red Mountain in the Greenhorn Mountains

10 miles West of Lake Isabella

Jurisdiction: FRA

Coopers Type 2 IMT in command.

150 acres, 20% containment

A Forest order is in place closing the area surrounding the fire area.  
The demobilization of resources has begun and will continue to increase.

 A fire suppression repair plan has been completed and the work will begin on 7/7/14.

Fire is located South of Red Mountain in the Greenhorn Mountains

Coopers Type 2 ICT remains in command.

150 acres, 0% containment.

Crews gained an anchor point on the heel of the fire and direct attack of the fire is in progress.

The fire is burning in extremely steep terrain.
