RE: [californiadisasters] Re: Wildfire - LNU/Napa Co. - Pope Valley - Butts Incident

i have been on scanner since it started about noon give or take, ffs were going to put in a contingency plan but have since held off due to low fire activity,, just about all the air support
has been sent back to base for the nite,, when the talk was of the putting in the contingency plan
this was going to be west of the berryessa estates and if the fire went thru that area
then the fire could go 11,000 ac,, fire is expected to lay down tonite but be active tomorrow

Joann acreage heard it was 2700 ac  30 % contained scanner

Now 2500+ acres
Wind NE 6/G13
RH 26%

30% containment, 5 structures lost

Steep rugged terrain (been there, fought fire there, no tee shirt for only a 1k acre fire).

Be safe and remember that fireworks are illegal more places than they are allowed.  Happy Birthday US!
