Stay upwind, let your musk drift... ;o) At that age, all drama and the maintenance is too high. It's also become rural SoCal, not a good thing...

Atypical college behavior. No one else does, including some of the faculty.

Well, duh!

Yah, the cops over-reacted too, then the school wimped out. It used to be a pretty good party.

Not even close to the same.

Just mutter, drool and use your zombie walk, you'd be a natural.

That might not be around, but there are usually some activities going on. Another 'riot' (loud, semi-sober kids partying) happened a few years ago, so there may be some pressure to clamp things down. Halloween being on a Friday... not good in a college town. I suggest finding a crash pad in town next weekend since LE will not have any sense of humor.
I think Homecoming is November-ish.

I have no PC comment to that... The football team has never done well, they should focus on their strengths.... which aren't on the field. It's a liberal arts and engineering tech school (CompSci, EE) with some farm stuff thrown in... foo-ball just isn't the strong point.

They did well last year in the parade, surprisingly well. Usually an honorable mention or presidents award. But you wanted to avoid the twinkies... and they'd be all over that place (besides, this forest kid thinks Pasadena blows, too many mo-rons on the road and just another town to get through to get someplace nice).
Enjoy, soak it in. Your life experiences should let you avoid most of the bigger challenges... ;o) At least you know which wine goes with burgers...
