Today is Spirit Day: Seniors wear Black; Juniors wear White; 9th & 10th wear silver or grey
Tuesday is Tye Dye Tuesday
Wednesday: On Wednesday we wear Pink
Thursday: Throwback Thursday- wear your favorite childhood costume.
Friday: Fancy Friday
Please remember that you must be in dress code on each dress up day. No masks, bandanas or hats!
This afternoon is the carnival and the powderpuff football game! The carnival begins at 4:30. There will be a photo booth and sumo wrestling available at no charge along with many other games.
The Powderpuff game will begin at 6:30 in the main gym. Tickets will be on sale at the carnival for $5.00. Juniors will sit on the upper North side and Seniors will sit on the upper South side.
Headbandz make her dance! Do you need a headband for Powerpuff? YOU DO! Fashion club will be selling headbands outside of the library at lunch Today and at the Carnival for $5.
WING SQUAD: There will be a Wing Squad meeting today in the lecture hall regarding upcoming events.
ART CLUB: The art club will meet today in Room G113 at lunch.
HOMECOMING TICKETS are on sale for $20.00 in the Activities Office during lunch. You must have your current student ID to purchase a ticket. If you are bringing a guest that does not attend Volcano Vista please have the completed permission slip with you when you purchase your tickets. Each student is limited to one ticket and one guest.
Send a SPOOK-O-GRAM to your favorite person! For only a dollar, a spook-o-gram will give your friend the opportunity to receive a trick or a treat on Halloween! Hawk Harvest will be selling Spook-o-grams during lunch this week.

Frisbee Golf: Do you like throwing things and the great outdoors? Then join the real newest club, Frisbee Golf, Friday at lunch in Mr. Terrell's room, F101!
LETTERJACKETS: The weather is cooling down and you have not bought you letter jacket, don't stress!! Gardenswartz Team Sales will be selling letter jackets at a reduced price on November 6th at the VVHS One Team Athletic Parent Night event. They will be in the concourse area near the gym at 5:30pm at this event, Don't Miss out!! For more information see Mr. Roybal in room H131
GSA; Did you know that The Gay Straight Alliance isn't just for gay people? ANYONE can join. Gay-Straight Alliances (GSAs) are student clubs that work to improve school climate for all students, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity/expression. There will be a Gay Straight Alliance meeting today at lunch in room A120. New and prospective members along with interested students are always welcome to attend.
COUNSELING:
There are recruiters from 3 universities visiting Volcano Vista this week, on Tuesday Santa Fe University of Art and Design will be visiting, on Thursday Eastern New Mexico University visits, and on Friday New Mexico State University will be here. They will be available at Lunch in the lower E Hall concourse, if you have any question about admissions please stop by their table.
ATHLETICS
Boys' Tennis team will be having a meeting on Wednesday October 29th at Lunch in room H125, if you are interested in playing tennis in the spring please plan on attending. Grab your lunch and see you then.
VOLLEYBALL: Plays at Santa Fe Tuesday evening at 7.
