Please remember that you must be in dress code on each dress up day. No masks, bandanas or hats!
HOMECOMING TICKETS are on sale for $20.00 in the Activities Office during lunch today. TODAY IS THE LAST DAY TICKETS WILL BE $20. The price increases to $25.00 tomorrow. You must have your current student ID to purchase a ticket. If you are bringing a guest that does not attend Volcano Vista please have the completed permission slip with you when you purchase your tickets. Each student is limited to one ticket and one guest.
Send a SPOOK-O-GRAM to your favorite person! For only a dollar, a spook-o-gram will give your friend the opportunity to receive a trick or a treat on Halloween! Hawk Harvest will be selling Spook-o-grams during lunch this week.
LETTERJACKETS: The weather is cooling down and you have not bought you letter jacket, don't stress!! Gardenswartz Team Sales will be selling letter jackets at a reduced price on November 6th at the VVHS One Team Athletic Parent Night event. They will be in the concourse area near the gym at 5:30pm at this event, Don't Miss out!! For more information see Mr. Roybal in room H131
COUNSELING:
There are recruiters from 3 universities visiting Volcano Vista this week, on Tuesday Santa Fe University of Art and Design will be visiting, on Thursday Eastern New Mexico University visits, and on Friday New Mexico State University will be here. They will be available at Lunch in the lower E Hall concourse, if you have any question about admissions please stop by their table.
ATHLETICS
Aerobics for all staff members is after school Wednesday from 2:45-3:30 in the dance room
BOYS' TENNIS team will be having a meeting on Wednesday October 29th at Lunch in room H125, if you are interested in playing tennis in the spring please plan on attending. Grab your lunch and see you then.
SOFTBALL preseason practice for Freshman and anyone else not in Softball Class, will be this week on Tuesday and Thursday at 2:45pm.
VB: Plays at Santa Fe tonight at 7.
GIRLS SOCCER: is seeded 7 and will be playing in the first round of state on Friday here at VV.
BOYS SOCCER: is seeded #4 and will be playing next week.
XC: has their district competition Saturday here at VV at 10am.
