10/09/10 | 0715 | Initial Attack Activity was light in the GACC yesterday with 19 fires for 0 acres reported in the Daily Situation Report, (there may be a 24-hour delay in reporting on the SIT report). It will remain cooler than normal over the next today as southwest/onshore flow continues. One last area of cloud cover will move onshore into Saturday...with a few light showers in the far NW corner of the state. Otherwise high pressure builds in with gradual warming/drying later in the weekend into early next week. NE/offshore winds are possible Mon-Tue along with additional drying west of the Sierra-Cascade crest. |
