RE: [californiadisasters] Incident in Westchester : Belford Avenue and Airport..



okie dokies, I had LAFD Lightforce 95 with Engine 95 here on Belford Avenue, down the street from me. and LAPD on the other side of Belford av. on Airport. I just saw the news video and he jumped into the apartment behind Yum Yum Donuts. I was on Sepulvada x Westchester Parkway at 1130 hrs. waiting for the Santa Monica num. 3 bus, when the armed robber was being chased by Torrance PD (3 squad cars plus the SUV), 2 Redondo PD squad cars and 1 LAXPD squad car. They were going about 100 mph. towards Culver city and the perp. hit 3 vehicles to get away from the police. I was crossing Sepulvada blvd. when he hit a silver '08 Honda Civic, I just heard the two vehicles hitting each other and people gasping. Thank god he didn't go straight. At least this bad guy got shot by the LAPD and if he lives, then he will be in Jail for a long time.

Officer involved shooting starting around Del Amo Mall in Torrance ending up near Howard Hughes Parkway.

Anyone have an update on the incident on Belford Av. and Airport Av. with LAPD and LAFD. I know there was a shooting in Culver City and Airport x Manchester.

    I was in that Honda Civic. You wouldn't happen to be the gentleman that came up and offered to call the cops would you? If so, thank you.
