Cooler temps due to deep marine layer penetrating inland

National Weather Service San Joaquin Valley

Flood advisory remains in effect for the kings river just below pine flat

including Winton park and the Piedra area until further notice

Local law enforcement officials report that winton park on the

kings river just below pine flat continues to be flooded and

is closed to the public. Cold and high flows continue just below

the dam and pose a danger to recreation activities.

further downstream officials have opened access to the kings

river as levels slowly recede. check with local officials for the latest river closure

information.

A deepening trough of low pressure will bring unseasonably

cool weather with a deep marine layer through Saturday
