Notes:		At about this hour in 1959 a flare-up on a wildland fire started by a vehicle over the side on the Ortega Highway near Lake Elsinore Village which killed on passenger caught CDF and USFS fire crews on a mid-slope road with no safety zone or escape route. Seven firefighters were killed (six USFS & one CDF) and dozens more injured. The fire burned 1,700 acres.
