| 08/17 | 0730 | RELIZ (CA-BEU-002787) Fire has burned 170 acres of Mainly grass and brush and is 35% contained Incident is located West of King City in San Benito Monterey Co. Fire activity was slowed over night, light winds and higher humidity's were contributing factors. Fire was backing down from ridge lines over night with some interior pockets burning out. Housing developments, Hunting Cabins and out buildings in and around the fire are still concerns as are the preservation of private lands. Structure protection in the Pine Canyon remains a priority. |
| 08/17 | 0730 | Grape Fire (CA-KRN-25071), Fire is 175 acres and 65% contained. Incident burned in steep rugged terrain, location of fire perimeter is 2 miles south of Grapevine near Interstate SB I-5, There are SCE High voltage lines in the area. Fire showed minimal movement in the last operational period to the Southwest and should stay within current containment lines. |
