RE: [Geology2] 10.5 Apocalypse/Category 7 The End of the World

They were pretty bad, weren’t they.  I did sit through them when they were on TV but couldn’t do it again and definitely not back to back.

A couple of years ago I found a cheap seats DVD double feature of the uber horrible disaster movies "10.5 Apocalypse" and "Category 7 The End of the World".

In a moment of madness and being the glutton for punishment I am I purchased them.

Although I watched both when then first aired on national TV (both low points in American TV history) tonight feeling bad being shut-in with bad poison oak I decided to further punish myself by watching them back-to-back... thought I.

Unfortunately, they were even worse than I remembered and in both cases my sense of decency and self-respect (or was that self-preservation?) forced me to stop them about ten minutes into both movies.

Mom will be the proud owner of the movies by tomorrow... unless California experiences a M10.5 earthquake in the meantime.
