So earlier today, I was sitting at my desk when "rumble" and it passed through the house.. I asked my wife if she felt that.. yep.. check usgs.. 4.2 initial.. Hayward fault.. check again, downgrade to 3.9.. and check again, upgrade to 4.0.. and now just a few minutes ago.. I felt that same rumble through the house.. "What? Again?!?".. yep.. 4.2 initial, though this one felt bigger than the last.. thankfully nothing dropped on my head.. and this, the day of "The Great California Shakeout".. how DID they know? Not really a disaster per se... but all the same.. if it were much worse.. it sure could be.. I'm 8 miles away from the epicenter.. I wonder what it felt like in Berkeley..
