Congratulations to this week's students that were recognized for demonstrating the core values of our school Safety, Organization, Achievement and Respect. Way to SOAR! Also,remember you can turn in SOAR cards for merchandise every Friday at the SOAR store in H Hall near DECA Store. This week's winners receive Hawk Spirit Wear. Art Club Meeting today during lunch in room G113

 

Seniors you need to have your senior photo taken at Lifetouch Studios by October 24th to appear in the 2012 edition of the yearbook. Call 896-5570 for an appointment.

 

Class of 2012: There will be a meeting today during lunch in Room F210. All members of Class of 2012 are welcome to attend.

 

"Do you want to learn more about the Bible? Do you want to know more about the love of God? Converge in Room F211 on Tuesday, October 11 during lunch. 'Converge' is a student-led Bible study formally known as 'Unashamed.' Everyone is welcome.

 

The first freshman forum meeting will be this Wednesday during lunch in A116. All freshmen are invited to attend.

Please don't forget to select a sample of work from each of your classes to bring to your advisory this week! We will be on a short advisory schedule on Thursday.

 

All members of the Spanish National Honor Society must attend the mandatory meeting on Thursday, October 6th. Bring your calendars on Thursday to room E112 at lunch to set the tutoring schedule and service project for the Spanish National Honor Society.

 

The Black Student Union will be having their weekly BSU meeting on Thursday, Oct 6, during lunch in F-204 . The meeting will start promptly at 11: 25 am. We are having a scholarshipnight, if you need help filling out those complicated scholarship forms please come to room F-204 at 3pm for help, all students are welcome.

 

HAWK IDOL...The 2nd annual talent show will take place on October 26th. Any student interested in trying out for the talent show please stop by the activities office or see Mrs. Clark to pick up an application. All applications are due on October 6th
