Seniors who are signing up for Homecoming court there is a meeting in the main gym at the beginning of lunch today. Please bring your yellow sign-up sheet with you if you have not turned it in yet. Remember wewill be taking pictures for the ballot today.
There is a dance tonight from 7:00 to 9:30 in thegym. Admittance is $5.00. You must have your student ID. You may buy tickets at the door.
NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY: Our first meeting of the year will be held on Monday, August 27th during lunch. All of this year's meeting dates are also printed in your student agenda. Juniors will meet in Mrs. Jones' room, E203, and the MIGHTY SENIORS will meet in Ms. Torres' room, H209. See you on Monday, August 27th, at lunch.

Come out and support your Volcano Vista Hawk Marching Band for our first annual March-A-Thon, Saturday, August 25th from 8 am to 11 am. The parade will begin at the Trails Community Park just northwest of the school. Go Hawks!
SBA results from last Spring will be distributed to PARENTS OR LEGAL GUARDIANS ONLY, Monday at 6:00 p.m. from the Gym snack barjust before Curriculum Night begins. To pick up SBA test results, PARENT ORLEGAL GUARDIAN must show photo identification. Again, Spring 2012 SBA results can be picked up Monday at 6:00 p.m. from the gym snack bar by PARENTS OR LEGAL GUARDIANS ONLY.
CURRICULUM NIGHT is Monday, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the General Session in the Gym, followed by classroom visits. This event is for parents to visit their student's schedule of classes and get information about those classes; students are welcome to attend with their parents.
